FieldRoutes is a software company that does operation software for pest control, lawn care, and pool care as well. We do a lot of their accounting. We do a lot of their CRM stuff for all their business. We try to make sure they can get everything they need done in the software, including payments. And it’s been very powerful to us to add payments to that. You don’t only get the route management we provide or the CRM. You also get to be able to have your customers make payments without you having to lift a finger. It’s just almost like adding another accountant to your team or another, you know, customer service person onto your team. It’s just goes hand in hand. We were looking at different providers and just what the availability was out in the market. And we kind of landed where we were with Worldpay just because we had the option of flexibility to either scale up our business and go full on API for everything or we could kind of go more like white labeled and kind of do it in baby steps. And we found it to be easy for us that we wanted to go more white labeled. Our need was to go faster into the marketplace. So, we were actually able to integrate in under four weeks, which was crazy in the industry that that we’re in. If we were able to see a return on our investment fairly fast, we could have some fast follows of being able to add more things, be more integrated with the payment provider, to be able to have reporting and other aspects that our customers are asking for while still maintaining and getting revenue upfront already. It’s been phenomenal. That was the best thing we could have done. One product that we really benefit a lot from is Account Updater. A primary lot of our business is reoccurring, so it’s monthly payments and we’re actually able to utilize Account Updater very effectively because of being able to have such a huge amount of our customers being able to do reoccurring payments. It’s been a game changer. We have customers just wanted to come to us for that very feature by itself. The advice I give to a new software company entering the payment space would really be don’t bite off more than you can chew, and you don’t have to integrate everything all at once. Just go with the basics, go with your gut, you know, be able to sign up, be able to run basic transactions and then just go from there. The one thing I would always recommend from our perspective that we did a really good job, in the beginning was we used the white label version of the sign up, which has been phenomenal for us because we always wanted to migrate over to more of an API sign up. But then we soon realized that the added benefits of the white label is that anything that changes or gets added that are mandated by compliance or by legalities has already been taken care of by Worldpay. We just get to reap the benefits. It doesn’t. There’s no change for us. There’s nothing additional. We just get told that it’s been updated, and we get a smile and keep signing up merchants.
